Senior Spotlight - Class of 2023 Name: Alyssa Martin Goals for my future (Education, career or military. If college, list the major you are interested in pursuing.): After high school, I plan to go to college for a Biology or Environmental Studies degree. I plan to go to KVCC for prerequisites then I’ll transfer to a university for a bachelor's degree. Most memorable Gobles Public Schools memory: All of the fun we had on the marching band bus on the way to and from competitions. The number one skill I am taking with me after graduation is: One skill I will take with me is note-taking. What sports, hobbies, extracurriculars have you been a part of since 9th grade? Since 9th grade, I have been a member of the band and Quiz Bowl. Superpower you wish you had: Teleportation Favorite restaurant: Hunan Gardens Fun fact about me: My favorite thing to do outside of school is photography and I love taking pictures of nature. My advice to future GHS students: Don’t get caught up in unnecessary drama. It’s not worth your time or stress. It’s always better to make your schoolwork a priority and enjoy the happier moments. What I want the community to know about GHS: Gobles High School may be a small school but there is a strong sense of community within the school and the staff truly want the best for their students.
